The beautiful and graceful Curtiss Seagull was developed by the American Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor Company. The Seagull was surprisingly reliable, but not many of the craft sold, due to competition from the war surplus Curtiss MF. Construction of the Seagull ended scarcely 20 years after it began in 1919
