With a title strip on green paper, mount recto. The "Carter's View Emporium, East Temple Street, Adjoining Wells & Fargo's Express" printed mount verso; "South from Arsenal" and "419" both penciled in a period hand on mount verso, and in a different period hand in brown ink, the name "Julia Weston."
This view was taken from Arsenal Hill and shows the newly constructed, but possibly not finished, Tabernacle. Carter made several views from Arsenal Hill, including stereo views and these rarer CDVs.
