The Neurdein Studio in Paris was founded by Etienne Neurdein in 1864. His brother, Antonin, managed it by himself for a number of years, but after 1887 they ran the company together. They went on to publish many postcards of urban French views, nudes, panoramas, and scenes from various French colonies. Many of their cards do not bear their name but only the initials "ND".
