|Leather or specialty case, Real photo postcard, early 1900s|
The bell-shaped frame is made from off-white cotton highly decorated with various sizes of glass beads in multiple colors--red, green, yellow, blue, and clear. The image is not original to the frame.
The latter is American, and the former is a real photo postcard from France, depicting a child posed before a backdrop of a church wall, holding a spray of flowers, and with two doves at her feet. Both frame and image date from the early 1900s.
A charming and unusual piece of photographica.
