Album of 41 humorous snapshots of (mostly) "perfectly harmless" young men and women
Gelatin silver (printed out) (and cyanotypes), 1900 to 1910
A charming compilation of images of young men and women posing outdoors (some with their subjects wielding guns!), in groups, and in soulful reflection. Many of the photographs have pasted captions below them ("...Sour saints and sweet sinners", "cases of broken-down girls whose minds have been nearly destroyed by overstudy"). The pages contain 25 printing-out-paper or gelatin silver photographs and 16 cyanotypes.

The album measures 4 1/8 x 3 1/8 inches. Its cover is black with "Photographs" printed in gold on the front.
