Sixteenth-Century Ironwork on the House of Pilato, Seville
Albumen print, 1870s
Initialed, numbered and titled, in Spanish, by hand, in the negative. NOTE: Most of the structure of Seville's Casa de Pilatos dates from the 16th century. It is a mixture of Italian Renaissance and Spanish Mudejar styles, and is regarded as a "prototype" of an Andalusian palace.
