Signed and titled, in a period hand in ink, mount recto. This photograph was taken in "Nuttingholm," Nutting's residence in Framingham, Massachusetts. The model, Helen Goss, started out in Nutting's coloring department when she was still in High School. Later she posed for several Nutting images including this one, and in the words of her daughter, always posed indoors, alone, and always wearing her mother's taffeta wedding dress.
