Alexander Spotswood Grigsby, Jr. (1836 to 1889) was a surgeon in the 1st Virginia Infantry. He lived at the Grigsby House (also known as the Four Chimney House) during much of the the Civil War. His house, as the title indicates, was briefly the headquarters of General Johnston.
Grigsby moved to Campbell County where he died in 1889.
